This company rented me an apartment without telling me I would be living for 7 months in a worksite, with demolition noise, dust and messy workmen. I was the sole tenant in the building for four months, but my apartment took only two weeks to prepare...Strange. Result, after the first big storm of winter, two weeks later all my walls were covered with mold. When I showed the owner, he told me this is normal for Portugal! And he refused to clean the walls. The apartment is uninhabitable since the middle of November. I told him I couldn't stay in such conditions and he is glad I will leave, so he can raise the rent! Beware of doing business with this company. You cannot trust them, especially if you are a foreigner here. The consumer defense is almost nonexistent in Portugal.
