I live in Canada. In the process of finding a suitable home in Portugal, I can now say that I was very lucky to find Ana Pinheiro & Nuno Almeda. The obstacles, potential and reals, in purchasing a home while living abroad are many, and for me it would have been impossible to sort them out and solve them without the help and guide of an experienced lawyer. Nuno Almeida, who speaks English fluently, is extremely knowledgeable, scrupulous and precise. He communicated with us periodically through the phases of the Promissory Contract, guiding step by step through the hurdles of the process, up to the final day of the signature of the deed. Since the beginning, after the first contact via Zoom, I felt very comfortable because Mr Almeida immediately appeared trustworthy and competent. In brief, I would recommend his help to anyone who from abroad would like to buy a property in Portugal.
