Went there with minimal to no research after reading reviews here.We did not have a car, so we took a bolt/cab which took us to a questionable area on the road. Coordinates of the starting point/parking if you are interested in going there is (40.2090451, -8.3757163). The road in-between the tree and this point is a private, so you will not be able to get any closer than this.As another review said, there is absolutely no sign posting on how to get there, Google maps was our best friend in finding our way to the tree. We mostly followed the dirt path the whole way and prayed it was the right path the whole time.Other than that, it was an easy hike/walk and was a great breather from the busy city.
