Clube Praia da Oura Resort Albufeira

Good location, close to the Strip and Old Town and with access to the beach. Stayed in 1-bed apartment which was ok space wise. Bed was comfortable, as was the sofa and patio furniture. Kitchen adequately equipped. However:- the initial apartment which was supposed to be Deluxe was at the back of the hotel with no view, so we requested a move and were instead moved to a much smaller one. However, the view was amazing so we accepted,- Reception and Customer Experience staff were friendly and helpful, but porter service was not offered to us. I had to carry all our bags to the first and second apartment as my mother was unable to help due to mobility issues. Bar staff was also expecting to order at the bar and wouldn't return due change unless I returned and asked for it (I left a large note and waited for change after barman had to leave to change it so I sat down at the table, but he waited for me at the bar even though it was quiet),- place requires updating,- TV service was virtually non existent as only 2 channels worked. Luckily, I wasn't there to watch TV,- during our 2 weeks stay our apartment was only cleaned once,- Hotel design is not very user friendly, rooms are difficult to find without directions
