1920 Barbershop - Fonte Nova

Is not the first time that I went there because I liked David’s work, a guy that is no longer working at this barbershop, but now this was the WORST haircut I’ve ever had and I made the worst mistake by bringing a friend.He has long hair and the guy just cut it and started struggling. He recognized he DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO CUT LONG HAIR WHILE HE WAS CUTTING HIS and, not happy with that, he did the worst “fade” I’ve ever seen. Both sides were different and so squared, not matching with the hairstyle and I’m surprised it didn’t went worse. In my case, I let my hair grow for a while and he just wanted to start shaving my head. I asked him to stop, explained what I wanted him to do with scissors (as that is THE BASIC any hairdresser should know) and first thing he did… CUT THE SIDES FROM THE ROOT AND TRIED TO DO IT ALL AROUND MY HEAD. I had to make him stop, tried to explain again and ASKED HIM TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO BEFORE CONTINUING just for him to say “ok” and continued doing it wrong. When he finished I had to ask him to shave my sides and backside because the cut was a disaster and he couldn’t even do that right! He left parts super long on the sides, and the rest was not following any style either.I refused to trust my friend who tried the barbershop before and gave me so much of a bad review thinking that could be a one time issue, and I absolutely regret!Now… the price!! This is so overpriced for a job executed in such a wrong way, I’ve got so much better cuts for less money that this is just offensive.ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.Not surprised that everytime I go to Fontenova it is empty.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER TRY THIS PLACE.
