Bichos Na Madeira

We had a terrible experience with this carpenter and were completely scammed. We ordered a really expensive cupboard for our kitchen and gave them precise measurements because it needed to fit in a recess. Coincidentally the photo we showed them of the cupboard we liked, they claimed to have made, the chances of that must have been thousands to one and we should have realised then something wasn't right.When we went to collect the furniture we were shocked by the lack of quality, they hadn't even bothered to stain and treat the back of the cupboard and the wood is so thin you can push it in with your fingers. The shelf inside the cupboard is made of ply and looks like a 5 year old stained it.Despite all this we didn't complain, the front of the cupboard looked good enough (despite the fact one of the handles wasn't straight). We paid 500 euros to have to cupboard transported to our home in Alentejo and it was then we realised they hadn't made it to the correct dimensions and it wouldn't fit. My wife called them immediately and they reluctantly agreed to come down to try to fix it when it was convenient for them. They never came and she messaged them this evening and they told us it was our problem, not theirs.
