L'Oasis
A quaint little Italian. We had high hopes for this place as it was recommended to us by an English couple that used to live in this area. It did not disappoint! I was a little unsure after reading some of the reviews, but I can honestly say that I don't agree with anything negative that I read. The staff were lovely, the chef even made two little toys for our 1 year old out of old corks and a cocktail umbrella! If you're looking for a cute Italian restaurant with authentic pizzas or pasta (I'm not the biggest fan of pizza - don't hate me, but it is my husbands favourite) this has to be high up on the list! I had the Linguine Nero, my husband had Pizza Tricolore and my 1 year old had a Margharita. If you love seafood like me, I absolutely recommend this dish!My only criticism is that there was no child's menu so we had to buy her a full size adults portion. But they kindly boxed up her leftovers for us and it meant we had a tasty midnight snack!
