Vila Planície

This is a very nice hotel well located for exploring the local wine region and the hill top town of Monsaraz. The hotel is typical Portuguese and the facilities include 2 well maintained swimming pools. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and within 20km of the exceptional vineyards of the Alentejo we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Breakfast was included but for dinner we chose to walk to the nearby Sem Fin restaurant. In late September the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly.
