VetAnimal - Consultório Veterinário

We are in the process of moving to Portugal, and were looking for a vet to take care of our two dogs. Vet-animal came very highly recommended, we went to see them and asked them if we could go onto their books, they examined the boys, made sure everything was in order regarding the chips and documentation, welcomed us aboard and then wouldn’t take any money for the process, can you imagine that happening anywhere else?The staff are all cheerful and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. This was our first trip to Europe without the blue animal passports and using the new animal health certificate. It was new to everybody, including the vets at vet-animal but they quickly researched it, gave the boys their check up and worming medication and filled out the relevant documentation (Which needs to be done meticulously by the way) and everything seemed to be good to go to return to the UK, and for all that the charge was €24.Prices are very reasonable and the care is exceptional, it is refreshing to receive excellent service and not having to pay an arm and and a leg to get it. I know I’m gushing a bit here, but I’m a firm believer in credit where credit is due, and also it’s very helpful as a newcomer to another country to be able to get an insight into something that you may well need, I hope this review may help you out.
