Hotel da Vila

Rooms are basic. No hair dryer provided. Water takes a long time to get warm in the shower. Rooms with high numbers are likely to share a wall with a disco… I was in 214 and was woken every night at 01:30 by thumping music. Ear plugs don’t cut it as the base is so low… stayed awake from 02:00-04:30 every night waiting for the noise to stop only to then be woken by the dustcart collecting bottles at about 05:00 or the dray delivering bottles… pretty disappointing really, all things considered. Staff were friendly and spoke good English.
